What is Certification?

I am a NACHI certified home inspector. NACHI, the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors, is the largest inspector's association in the U.S. The certification process requires that inspectors pass yearly tests, complete yearly training requirements, and perform their inspections in an ethical manner, according to established standards of conduct.

Why is Certification Important?

Idaho is one of the few states which do NOT require inspectors to be certified. There is no government regulation of inspectors. Choosing a certified inspector is the only way you can guarantee that your inspector has the knowledge and training to perform an accurate and thorough inspection.
